CMS Release 3.274.0 - Revert

We want to inform you of an important change to a recently released feature in CMS Version 3.274.0.

Feature reverted: Decouple URL slug from headline

Based on valuable feedback from our user community, we have reverted the URL slug decoupling feature that was introduced in the previous release.

What does this mean?

• URL slugs will once again auto-update when headlines are modified (restored to previous behavior)
• The "Generate automatically from SEO title" checkbox visibility has returned to its original state
• This change affects both the Articles and Liveblog screens

We received feedback indicating that this change negatively impacted clients. Reverting this feature restores the expected editorial workflow and removes the disruption reported by clients.
