For Editors:
🌟 Improvements:
- Tennis Widgets Customization: Enhanced options are now available for selecting match types in the Tennis Athlete and Tournament Programme widgets, including gender selection in the latter for more tailored content.
- Improved Tagging Functionality: When tagging two teams, the CMS will now display all matches involving either team, rather than just their head-to-head matches.
- Widget Visibility and Control: New settings allow you to control whether to display the headers in widgets to match your layout preferences.
- Expanded Widget Applicability: Widgets previously limited to match-type blogs can now be used in News-type blogs.
- Default Tab Selection in Widgets: For Football, Basketball, and Tennis, you can now choose a default tab in all v2 widgets in order to display the relevant data first by default.
- Character Count Update: Character counters will now also count the spaces, ensuring accurate content length measurements.
- Team Squad Widget Customization: Editors now can select which parameters are displayed in the Team Squad widget, allowing for more relevant information to be presented to users.
📎 Feature Availability Upon Request:
- Automatic Display Odds Option: Available upon client request, this setting allows the 'Display odds' checkbox to be pre-selected as either checked or unchecked by default, simplifying setup for recurring use.
🐞 Bug Fixes:
- Liveblog Editing Issue: Addressed a problem where the menu could become inactive and greyed out during Liveblog post edits.
- Rich Text and Description Field Corrections: Fixed issues with the Author Bio rich text field not displaying updated values and text fields appearing smaller than intended.
For Developers:
🌟 Image Referal and Copyright Management:
- Getty and IMAGO Integration: Enhanced handling of external image sources, including ability to display referral URLs for Getty and IMAGO images. The system now supports dynamically constructing URLs for IMAGO images based on API data.
🐞 Bug Fixes:
- Fixtures and Odds Display Correction: Rectified the display issue in Football single events when the odds checkbox is checked without selecting an odds provider.
- Season Selection Accuracy: Improved the accuracy of season property values in the Tennis athlete programme blocky when a season is not selected.
