Major New Features:

Modern Routing System:

• Clean URLs: Changed from hash-based (/#/articles) to clean paths (/articles)
• Faster Navigation: TypeScript type-safe routing with route preloading
• Enhanced Security: Nested routes, protected routes with auth guards, and per-route error boundaries
• Same Experience: No functional changes for editors — all features work exactly the same way

Amplitude Analytics Integration:

• Usage Tracking: Gain insights into CMS usage patterns with key event tracking (Login, Logout, Article creation)
• Privacy-Focused: Session-scoped per browser tab
• Reliable: Works even with ad blockers enabled
• Purpose: Enables data-driven improvements and early UX issue detection

Automatic Image Source Detection:

• Smart Recognition: CMS now auto-detects Imago or Getty images when uploaded outside built-in integrations
• Accurate Grouping: Images correctly categorized under their respective Getty or Imago listings
• Seamless Workflow: No manual origin selection needed for third-party images

Improvements:

Reusable Architecture: Enhanced maintainability through component extraction:

• AI Assistant extracted to a standalone package
• News Tracker refactored with dependency injection and WebSocket support
• Sidebar Navigation rebuilt as a routing-library-agnostic package
• Top Bar extracted for cross-app compatibility

System Cleanup:

• Removed completed Customer Survey 2025 H2 from the CMS interface

High-Priority Fixes:

• Admin Activity Tracking: Timestamp now correctly updates after user actions
• Image API Errors: Resolved 404 errors when searching football tags (e.g., "Barcelona")

• Version-agnostic News Tracker package (works with TanStack Query v4/v5 and Zustand v4/v5)
