For Editors:
New Features & Improvements
New CMS Dashboard
- A new Dashboard in the refreshed CMS replaces the legacy Dashboard.

Expanded AI Suggestions
- AI Suggestions now extend to article Title and Summary fields.
- A per-field toggle lets you switch between original and AI-suggested values for editorial and SEO fields.

Configurable AI Suggestions
- Project feature controls let you configure which AI Suggestions are available for each content type: Strapline & Title, Description, SEO fields, and Widgets.

Livestream Identification and Filtering
- Livestream videos are now marked across the CMS, with video-type filtering to help you find the content you need.

More Editing Options
- Insert dividers through the Lexical editor’s slash menu or block menu.
- Create, edit, and remove links, including with the Cmd/Ctrl+K shortcut.

Consistent Standings Block Settings
- The Standings block editor now provides a unified experience across sports, with supported sport-specific options.

Bug Fixes
Preserved Links and Formatting
- Standard links are retained when loading or pasting HTML into the Lexical editor.
- Text colour and highlighting are preserved when reopening content.

Clearer Image-Loading Errors
- Failed image loads now show an error with a Retry action instead of “No images found”.

More Reliable Article Editing and Saving
- Fixed article-edit errors when a related football match is missing its home or away team.
- Prevented oversized content payloads and save failures caused by Smart Search tag suggestions.

Correct Standings Team Selection
- The Standings block no longer automatically saves the stage’s first team as a highlighted team.
- The optional Highlight teams selection no longer triggers incorrect required-field validation.

CMS Loading Reliability
- Analytics configuration no longer blocks the initial CMS load.

For Developers:
Configuration Note
- Tennis Single Event Detailed — action required for affected projects
- From CMS 4.8.2, this block uses its own feature flag, independently of basketball.
- Projects that previously displayed it through the basketball flag must enable tennis_single_event_detailed to keep the block available.

Integration Fixes
- Content API Routing
- CMS 4.8.1 corrects Content API routing for bet365 and betway projects in CMS v2 following the 4.8.0 release.

- Bulk API Requests
- Corrected Bulk API URL construction, including the missing .api hostname segment.
