Exciting Sportal365 Widget Updates for Euro 2024

As Euro 2024 is underway, Sportal365 has implemented numerous enhancements and fixes across our widget range to improve user experience and functionality. Below is a detailed overview of these improvements, categorized by widget.

Football V2 Top Scorers Widget

• Season Dropdown and Competition Header: Added a header with a season dropdown and competition information.

• Resolved Jumping Issue: Fixed an issue where the widget would "jump" when switching between seasons.

• Data Presentation: Replaced the "-" with "0" for no data scenarios.

Knockout Widget

In preparation for EURO 2024, the Knockout Widget underwent a complete redesign to enhance its appearance, feel, and usability.

• Initial Scroll: For mobile, the widget now automatically scrolls to the active round upon initialization.

• Swipe Issue: Resolved an issue affecting the swipe functionality.

• Match Timing: Added display of start time for upcoming matches in football, basketball, and tennis.

• Score Details: Now displays detailed score information (Penalty / Aggregated).

Team H2H Widgets

• Ball Possession: Added a percentage (%) to the ball possession stat in the Team H2H widget.

• Country Information: Removed country details for club teams in both the Team H2H and Team H2H Match widgets.

• Split Widget: Split the Team H2H widget into two: one for season statistics and another for specific match statistics.

• Stats Alignment: Improved the alignment of statistics.

Multisport Widget

• Full Names Display: Added the option to display full names in addition to the existing option of displaying the three-letter codes.

• Odds and Clickability: Implemented functionality to make bookmaker logos and odds clickable along with the impression callback functions.

• Odds Count Function: Allow counting the number of odd impressions in the widget.

• Legacy IDs Usage: Adjusted to use legacy IDs for Football sports links.

• New Mode for Logo Visibility: Added a mode to control the visibility of the bookmaker logo, effective only when a specific betting ID is set.

• Competition Headers: Added an option to hide competition headers in the Top events selection.

• Live Match Indicator: Added a live match indicator to the widget.

• New Loader: Added a loader for better visual feedback during loading times.

• Refresh Time Option: Included a new option to set refresh times for the widget's content.

• State Retention on Refresh: Enhanced the widget to remember its last state when scrolling left or right, even after the page refreshes.

• Bookmaker Logo Display Options: New settings for displaying the bookmaker logo, tooltip, and text below the logo for enhanced customization.

Football Single Event Widget

• Dynamic Display Mode: Introduced a mode that alternates display between odds and provider every 3 seconds, with additional customization for branding colors and click actions.

Team Squad Widget

Please keep in mind the Shirt Number will be visible only for the current (active) season.

• Card View Default: Set Card view as the default selection for mobile devices; List view remains default for desktop.

• Data Options: Enhanced data display options to include age, matches, goals, assists, yellow cards, and red cards.

• Shirt Number Visibility: Increased the size of the shirt number for better visibility.

Football Standings Widget

• Dropdown for Pills: Changed the pills to a dropdown below the season dropdown for small screens.

• Table Legend: Added a legend that adjusts based on the rows displayed in the table.

• Offset, Limit Properties, and Highlight option: Introduced properties to manage data pagination and give the editors the option to highlight specific teams.

• Alignment Correction: Improved alignment of team names in very small containers to enhance visibility and layout.

Tournament Programme Widgets

• Tournament Logo Display: Now shows the country flag even when the header is not active.

Programme widgets

• Sorting Options: Provided editors the ability to set the sort direction in programme widgets for both the Fixtures and Results tabs.

Livescore and Programme Widgets

• Standings Icon: Replaced the standings icon with a label for clarity.

• Padding Reduction: Reduced padding in the tournaments sub-header.

• Date Format: Changed the date format to a single line for desktop (e.g., 20 JAN), and adjusted the font size for the date and status.

• Odds Container: Increased the height of the odds container.

• UI Enhancements: Updated the placeholder image and fixed a white line issue between the title and subtitle.

• Visual Updates: Changed the Standings label color to grey and increased the font size for the date of upcoming matches.

• Padding Added: Added padding on the right side of the team names to avoid an issue in which the team name was hidden behind the odds

• Mobile Optimization: Adjusted the height of the headers in the mobile version for better visibility and interaction.

Matches H2H Widget

• Font Size Adjustment: Fixed the font size for tournament names in subtitles to ensure consistency and readability.

Most Decorated and Top Scorers Widgets

• New Headers and Subtitles: Added a header to the Most Decorated Players widget and a subtitle to clarify whether the widget displays Top Scorers or Most Decorated Players.

General Enhancements

• Pill Visualization: Improved the visual design of pills across widgets. Pills can now be displayed or hidden separately from the header (season dropdown or calendar) using the data-options-display property.

• Scroll Indicator: Removed the scroll indicator in all tabular widgets to streamline the interface.

• Default Tab Selection: Added the option to set a default tab in all V2 widgets for Football, Basketball, and Tennis, allowing users to access their preferred information quickly.

• National Team Logos: Added a border to national team logos and increased contrast around these logos in the Football Single Event widget.

Additional Notes

• Bug Fixes: In addition to the above enhancements, we have addressed multiple bugs and issues to ensure a smoother experience across all Sportal365 widgets.

• Flag Size Fix: Corrected the size of the national team flags to ensure uniformity and proper display.
