Handball Livescore Widget

Add live and finished handball scores to a post.

The Livescore widget lists handball matches for a given date with their half-by-half scores, and keeps updating while matches are in progress.

The fastest way to add a Handball widget: hover any block and click the Handball icon directly — no need to open the full block picker and search a category list.

Preconditions

  • Your project must have the Handball feature enabled. Widget categories are switched on per project, so if Handball widgets does not appear in the block picker, ask your administrator to enable it.
  • You need permission to create or edit articles.
  • There must be matches scheduled on the date you choose.

Adding the Handball Livescore Widget to a post

To set up the widget:

  1. Open an article for editing, or create a new one.
  2. Hover over a block in the article body. A row of icons appears, one for each sport enabled on your project — the Handball icon is highlighted here.

The icon row revealed by hovering a block, with the Handball icon highlighted among the other sports available on this project.

  3. Select the Handball icon, then choose Livescore from the widget list that opens.

The Handball widgets list opened from the sport icon, showing all ten widgets with Livescore among them.

  4. Set the widget options. Select date, Competition filter, All competitions, Display widget header and others control what it shows.

The Livescore options panel as it first opens.

  5. Check the options are the ones you want. Some fields depend on others, so a list can be empty until you set the field above it.

Good to know

Only the preview shows the real widget. The collapsed block and the options panel show a CMS summary card instead — always check preview before publishing.

  • The preview area is narrower than a published page, so the widget uses its compact layout there and may hide columns that the published version shows.
  • The widget always renders whichever version of the sports widgets library your project is on. There is no version to set.
