[Auto-linking & auto-tagging](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/features?hsLang=en#auto-linking-auto-tagging) # Auto tagging ## Auto-tagging improves the process of optimizing your content with tags. --- Auto-tagging is a feature closely connected to the way sports connections are linked to your content. ### Auto-tagging your content You can now tag your posts with sports connections for each sport in the **Sport** list of the **Tags** panel, such as Football, Basketball, Tennis, Ice hockey, Handball, Futsal, Volleyball and American football, covering teams, players, coaches, venues, and more. ![Sport dropdown in the Tags panel, open, listing Football (selected and highlighted), Basketball, Tennis, Ice hockey, Handball, Futsal, Volleyball and American football.](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/hs-fs/hubfs/knowledge-base/cms-4.8.0/article-create/tags-panel-sport-dropdown-open.png?width=746&name=tags-panel-sport-dropdown-open.png) When you select **Smart search** under a paragraph, the system detects the sports-related connections in it and suggests keywords for you to link in your paragraphs (see auto-linking). The same entities appear straight away as suggestions in the **Tags** panel under **Suggested entities (auto generated)**, before you link any keyword in the text. You have the option to add them individually or all at once with **Add all**. Each suggestion is the first entity that matches the keyword, so check that it is the right team, player or competition before you add it. **![New Article screen with two red outlines: on the left, a Body paragraph about Real Madrid 4:1 Sevilla with its Smart search keyword suggestions and the Add all / Add first occurrences buttons; on the right, the Tags panel (Domain Sport, Sport Football, empty Football connections and Tournament) listing Suggested entities (auto generated): Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe, Sevilla, Real Madrid and Jude Bellingham, each with an x, above an Add all button.](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/hs-fs/hubfs/knowledge-base/cms-4.8.0/article-edit/tags-panel-suggested-entities.png?width=900&name=tags-panel-suggested-entities.png)**   Moreover, when you add entities to the **Football connections** field in the **Tags** panel, the system will automatically suggest all available matches in the **Upcoming matches**, **Past matches** and **Interrupted matches** tabs. Click **+** next to a match to add it to your post; it then appears under **Selected matches**. Related competitions are also suggested under **Suggested entities (auto generated)**.  ![Tags panel with Domain Sport, Sport Football and Football connections Fulham, Aston Villa, Premier League, Champions League, EFL Cup and Club Friendlies, above the Upcoming matches tab listing 21 Oct 2026 Aston Villa -
