[Account & set up](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/getting-started?hsLang=en#account-set-up) # Navigating the Sportal365 CMS ## Learn where everything lives in the Sportal365 CMS, from the sidebar sections to your account card and the help chat. --- Every screen of the Sportal365 CMS sits inside the same frame: a sidebar on the left with all the CMS pages, a top bar with the project switcher, a breadcrumb that shows where you are, and a help-chat bubble in the bottom-right corner. The page you are on is highlighted. The Dashboard also opens when you log in and after you switch projects, and it gives you an overview of the content of the project you are working in. If your window is not tall enough to show every section, scroll inside the sidebar to reach the lower sections, such as **SPORT**, **CUSTOMIZATION** and **INTEGRATIONS**. The **Collapse navigation** button and your account card stay pinned at the bottom. A yellow **NEW** badge marks **All Articles (new)** and **Content Restore**, and a purple **NEW** badge marks the **AI TOOLS** section, so you can spot the newest pages and tools at a glance. The **CONTENT** section has two article lists. **All Articles** opens the article list you already know, and **All Articles (new)**, directly below it, opens the redesigned article list, with search as you type, **My Articles**, **Bulk editing**, **Columns** and **Filters**. Both lists are available side by side. Depending on your project's setup and your permissions, some of the entries listed here may not appear in your sidebar. To check your permissions, see [Roles and permissions](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/roles-and-permissions?hsLang=en). #### Opening submenus Entries with a chevron (**\>**) open a submenu in place: **Videos**, **Images**, **Lists**, **Football** and **Fans United**. Select the entry to open its submenu (the chevron turns to point down), then select the page you want. Select the entry again to close the submenu. The submenus include: - **Videos** \> **All videos** - **Images** \> **All images** - **Lists** \> **Editorial**, **Automated lists**, **Scheduled** and **Tags & sports connections** - **Football** \> **Translations**, **Tournaments**, **Tournament order**, **Players**, **Teams**, **Coaches** and **Matches** - **Fans United** \> **Top X Manager**, **Match Quiz Manager**, **Leaderboard Manager**, **Classic Quiz Manager**, **Either/Or Manager** and **Discussions Manager** ![The sidebar with the Lists submenu open: Editorial, Automated lists, Scheduled and Tags & sports connections are listed below Lists, and the chevron next to Lists points down.](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/hs-fs/hubfs/knowledge-base/cms-4.8.0/features/shell-navigation/12c-collapsed-submenu-click-expands-crop-1.png?width=260&name=12c-collapsed-submenu-click-expands-crop-1.png) #### Collapsing and expanding the navigation To give the page more room, you can collapse the sidebar to a narrow rail of icons. 1. The sidebar shrinks to a rail of icons and the page widens. Hover over an icon to see the name of its page in a tooltip, and select the icon to open the page. Select **Dashboard** in the breadcrumb to go back to the Dashboard. On the Dashboard itself, the top bar shows **Welcome back**, followed by your name, in place of the breadcrumb. Select it to see your current project, switch to another project or change the interface language. For the steps, see [How to switch between projects](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/how-to-switch-projects?hsLang=en). #### Your account card Your account card sits at the bottom of the sidebar and shows your initials, name and email address. When the navigation is collapsed, the card shows only your initials. Select the card to open the account menu. The menu opens upwards, with your name at the top and these options: - **Profile** opens your profile page, with the **Profile**, **Update password** and **Permissions** tabs. On the **Permissions** tab, you can check the permissions of your role (see [Roles and permissions](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/roles-and-permissions?hsLang=en)). - **Language** opens the project switcher on its **QUICK SETTINGS** tab, where you can switch the CMS interface between **English** and **Bulgarian** (see [How to switch between projects](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/how-to-switch-projects?hsLang=en)). - **Logout** (shown in red) signs you out of the CMS. ![The account menu open above the account card: the name Service Admin as a header, then Profile, Language and Logout in red.](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/hs-fs/hubfs/knowledge-base/cms-4.8.0/features/shell-navigation/32-account-menu-crop-1.png?width=280&name=32-account-menu-crop-1.png) The account card replaces the account menu that opened from the top bar in earlier versions of the CMS. #### The help chat The orange chat bubble at the bottom right of every screen opens the help chat, where you can ask the Sportal365 AI assistant a question without leaving the page. To learn more, see [Getting help inside the CMS](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/getting-help-in-the-cms?hsLang=en). #### Using the CMS in a narrow window When your browser window is narrower than 1280 pixels, the sidebar is hidden to make room for the page. To open it, select the menu icon (three lines) at the top left, next to the logo. The sidebar opens over the page: select the page you want, or close the sidebar with the **X** next to the logo.
