The **Livescore** widget lists rugby matches for a given date with their half-by-half scores, and keeps updating while matches are in progress. The fastest way to add a Rugby widget: hover any block and click the **Rugby** icon directly — no need to open the full block picker and search a category list. ### Preconditions - Your project must have the Rugby feature enabled. Widget categories are switched on per project, so if **Rugby widgets** does not appear in the block picker, ask your administrator to enable it. - You need permission to create or edit articles. - There must be matches scheduled on the date you choose. If the widget shows no matches, try a different date or check with your administrator that the relevant competition data is licensed for your project. ### Adding the Rugby Livescore Widget to a post To set up the widget: 1. Open an article for editing, or create a new one. 2. Hover over a block in the article body. Review all options before saving. Hover the widget block and select the preview control to see the real widget. ### Rugby Livescore Widget options - **Select date** — The date to show matches for. - **Competition filter** — Type to filter the competition list before choosing one. - **All competitions** — Shows data across every competition instead of the single one selected below. - **Display widget header** — Shows the widget’s own heading above its content. - **Display odds** — Shows betting odds alongside the fixture, where available. - **Select bookmaker** — The bookmaker whose odds are shown, when odds are enabled. - **Default header option** — Which grouping is shown first when the widget loads, before a reader picks another. - **Refresh time** — Controls how often the published widget refetches its data. Leave empty to use your project’s global refresh setting. ### What the Rugby Livescore Widget shows Each match row shows: - **HALF1 / HALF2** — half scores: points scored by each team in each half - **S** — score: the running total, which is the match result ### Preview of the Rugby Livescore Widget The widget lists all scheduled and completed matches for the selected date. Each row shows the home and away team names, the score at half-time for each half (**HALF1** / **HALF2**), and the cumulative score (**S**). Live matches update automatically; completed matches show the final result. ### Good to know Only the preview shows the real widget. The collapsed block and the options panel show a CMS summary card instead — always check preview before publishing. - The preview area is narrower than a published page, so the widget uses its compact layout there and may hide columns that the published version shows. - The widget always renders whichever version of the sports widgets library your project is on. There is no version to set. - This covers Rugby Union and Rugby League alike — which competitions and matches are available depends on your project’s data, not on the widget itself. - If your development team integrates this data directly through the API rather than through this CMS, verify the correct sport key in your API reference documentation — the key shown in the CMS may differ from the key required by the API.
