The **Tournament Programme** widget lists the fixtures for an entire rugby competition and season, grouped by round. The fastest way to add a Rugby widget: select the **Rugby** icon in the quick-add row below the article body — no need to open the full block picker and search a category list. ### Preconditions - Your project must have the Rugby feature enabled. Widget categories are switched on per project, so if **Rugby widgets** does not appear in the block picker, ask your administrator to enable it. - You need permission to create or edit articles. - The competition and season you choose must have fixtures recorded. ### Adding the Rugby Tournament Programme Widget to a post To set up the widget: 1. Open an article for editing, or create a new one. 2. Below the blocks in the article body is a row of quick-add buttons: the content blocks first, then one icon for each sport enabled on your project, then **+**. Check the options are the ones you want. Hover the saved block. Of the controls that appear (**Copy embed code**, **Preview**, **Edit** and **Remove**), select **Preview** to see the real widget. ### Rugby Tournament Programme Widget options - **Competition** *(required)* — The competition whose data you want to show. The panel opens with one already selected; replace it with the one you want. - **Season** — The season within the chosen competition. It fills in by itself with one of that competition’s seasons; pick another from the list if you need a different one. - **Stage** — Limits the widget to a single stage of the competition, such as a group phase or a knockout round. - **Round** — Limits the programme to one or more rounds. Leave it empty to show every round. - **Limit** — How many matches are shown at first and on each further page. - **Date from** — The start of the date range to show fixtures for. - **Date to** — The end of the date range to show fixtures for. - **Sort direction of fixtures** — Whether upcoming fixtures are listed soonest-first or furthest-first. - **Sort direction of results** — Whether past results are listed most-recent-first or oldest-first. - **Display widget header** — Shows the widget’s own heading above its content. - **Display odds** — Shows betting odds alongside the fixture, where available. - **Select bookmaker** — The bookmaker whose odds are shown, when odds are enabled. - **Default header option** — Which tab, Fixtures or Results, is open when the widget loads. Leave it empty to use your project’s global settings. If the selection has no results yet, the widget opens on Fixtures. - **Refresh time** — Controls how often the published widget refetches its data. Leave empty to use your project’s global refresh setting. ### What the Rugby Tournament Programme Widget shows Each fixture row shows: - **Date** — kick-off: when the match is played, in your project timezone - **Teams** — the two sides: home and away teams with their crests - **H1 / H2** — half scores: points scored by each side in each half, once the match has been played - **S** — score: the final score once the match is complete ### Preview of the Rugby Tournament Programme Widget The widget lists fixtures grouped by round for the competition and season you selected. ![The Rugby Tournament Programme widget rendered in the CMS preview. The collapsed block and the options panel show a CMS summary card instead — always check preview before publishing. - The preview area is narrower than a published page, so the widget uses its compact layout there and may hide columns that the published version shows. - The widget always renders whichever version of the sports widgets library your project is on. There is no version to set. - This covers Rugby Union and Rugby League alike — which competitions and matches are available depends on your project’s data, not on the widget itself. - If your development team integrates this data directly through the API rather than through this CMS, the sport key to use is rugby\_union, not rugby — the CMS handles this translation for you automatically. -
