# Using the new All Articles list

## Learn how to search, filter and organize your articles in the redesigned All Articles (new) list.

**All Articles (new)** is the redesigned list of your project's articles. You can search as you type, show only your own articles, choose which columns you see, filter the list by many properties, including sports connections, and select articles to change them all at once. The **All Articles** list you already know is still available directly above it in the sidebar. If you cannot find an article in **All Articles (new)**, look for it in **All Articles**.

#### Opening the list

1. In the left sidebar, under **CONTENT**, select **All Articles (new)**. It is marked **NEW**.

2. The **Articles** page opens. The toolbar has **New Article**, the search field, **My Articles**, **Bulk editing** with the trash-can button (**Bulk delete**), **Columns** and **Filters**.

The list shows 20 articles per page, the most recently published first. For each article you see:

- a checkbox to select the article,
- **Title**, with the strapline in small grey text above it,
- **Active**: a green dot for an active article and a red dot for an inactive one,
- **Created by** and **Published at**,
- **Source Type**: how the article was produced, for example **AI-Generated**, **URL Translated**, **AI-Assisted** or **Editorial**, or a dash,
- **Category**,
- **Actions**: the pencil and the arrow next to it.

To open an article in the editor, select its title or the pencil (**Edit Article**). To write a new article, select **New Article**; see [How to create an Article](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/how-to-create-an-article?hsLang=en).

#### Searching articles

1. Select the search field (**Search title or part of content …**).
2. Type a word from the title or the text of the article. The list updates as you type; there is no search button to select.
3. To clear the search and see the full list again, select the **x** in the field.

While the **Filters** panel is open, the search field is shown as a magnifier icon. Select the icon to open the search box.

#### Showing only your articles

Select **My Articles** in the toolbar. The button turns yellow, the list shows only the articles you created, and the **Filters** button shows a count badge (**1**). Select **My Articles** again to see everyone's articles.

#### Choosing and arranging columns

1. Select **Columns**. The menu lists **Active**, **Created by**, **Published at**, **Source Type** and **Category**. A tick marks the columns that are shown.

2. Select a column name to hide or show that column. The menu stays open, so you can change several columns in one go.
3. To move a column, drag the dotted grip next to its header and drop the column in its new position.

4. To go back to the default columns and order, select **Columns** \> **Reset columns**.

**Title** and **Actions** are always shown and cannot be moved. Your column layout is saved for your user account. Depending on your project's configuration, **Columns** may offer other columns than the ones listed here.

#### Filtering articles

1. Select **Filters**. The **Filters** panel opens on the right.

2. Choose the filters you need: 
     - **STATUS**: **All**, **inactive** or **active**.
     - **TAGS**: one or more of your project's tags.
     - **CATEGORIES**: one of your project's categories.
     - **TYPE**: the article type, for example news, interview or analysis.
     - **PROPERTIES**: content properties, for example Live, Important or Ads enabled.
     - **CREATED BY**: the user who created the article.
     - **DOMAIN**: **All**, **Business**, **Entertainment**, **Politics**, **Sport** or **Technology**. Some domains add more filters; see the next section.
     - **PUBLISHED DATE**: select **From** or **To** and pick a day in the calendar.
3. Each filter applies as soon as you choose it. The panel header shows how many filters are active, for example **1 active**, and the **Filters** button shows the same number.
4. To remove all filters, select **Clear all** at the bottom of the panel. To close the panel, select the **X** at its top right.

While the panel is open, the table may show fewer columns to make room for it. Close the panel to see all your columns again.

#### Filtering by sports connections

1. In the **Filters** panel, set **DOMAIN** to **Sport**. The **SPORTS CONNECTIONS** field appears.
2. Type the name of a team, player, coach, competition, match or venue. The results are grouped, for example under **Teams**, **Players**, **Events** and **Competitions**, and each result shows details such as its sport and country.

3. Select a result, or the **+** next to it, to add it to the filter. It appears as a chip below the field, and the list narrows.
4. Add more connections if you need to. Articles must match every connection type you add. To remove a connection, select the **x** on its chip.

When you set **DOMAIN** to another domain, such as **Business** or **Technology**, an **ENTITY TYPE** filter appears instead, with **Person**, **Organization** and **Place**. #### Row actions

Each row has two buttons in the **Actions** column:

- The pencil (**Edit Article**) opens the article in the editor.
- The arrow next to it (**More actions**) opens a menu with three options: 
    - **Copy Article** opens a new Create Article screen with the content of the article already filled in and **\[Copy\]** in front of the title. The copy is saved only when you select **Save article**. See [How to duplicate content](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/how-to-duplicate-content?hsLang=en).
    - **Preview** shows the article as it will look on your website, if preview is set up for your project. See [Article overview](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/overview?hsLang=en).
    - **Move to Trash** moves the article to **Content Restore**, where it can be restored. You are asked to confirm first. See [How to delete and restore articles](https://knowledge-base.sportal365.com/how-to-delete-and-restore-articles?hsLang=en).

**Copy to project** is available only in the **All Articles** list.

#### Moving between pages

Below the table, select a page number, **Next** or **Previous** to move between pages. The current page is highlighted in yellow.

#### Selecting articles

Tick the checkbox at the start of a row to select that article, or the checkbox in the table header (**Select all articles on this page**) to select the whole page. With 2 or more articles selected, you can change them all at once with **Bulk editing**. You can also delete one or more selected articles with the trash-can button (**Bulk delete**).
