What is a headless CMS?

As a headless platform, we let you choose the device you want to deliver your content to.


A headless platform is front-end agnostic. It helps you present your content on any device – a mobile phone, a tablet, a laptop, a smartwatch, and so on.

The way your content looks to your audience doesn’t depend on a front end built into the CMS, as is the case with traditional content management systems like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.

In a way, a headless CMS is reactive: it lets you produce and save your content in the back end, where it sits and waits for some process (a mobile device, a computer, a smartphone) to request it via API calls, or to receive a push notification from our Queue service.
