Futsal Lineups Widget

Add futsal match lineups to a post.

The Lineups widget lists the starting players and substitutes for both sides in a single futsal match.

The fastest way to add a Futsal widget: hover any block and click the Futsal icon directly — no need to open the full block picker and search a category list.

Preconditions

  • Your project must have the Futsal feature enabled. Widget categories are switched on per project, so if Futsal widgets does not appear in the block picker, ask your administrator to enable it.
  • You need permission to create or edit articles.
  • Lineups are published shortly before a match, so an early fixture may have none yet.

Adding the Futsal Lineups Widget to a post

To set up the widget:

  1. Open an article for editing, or create a new one.
  2. Hover over a block in the article body. A row of icons appears, one for each sport enabled on your project — the Futsal icon is highlighted here.

The icon row revealed by hovering a block, with the Futsal icon highlighted among the other sports available on this project.

  3. Select the Futsal icon, then choose Lineups from the widget list that opens.

The Futsal widgets list opened from the sport icon, showing all ten widgets with Lineups among them.

  4. Set the widget options. Team, Display widget header, Refresh time control what it shows.

The Lineups options panel as it first opens.

  5. Check the options are the ones you want. Some fields depend on others, so a list can be empty until you set the field above it.

  6. Setting a team reveals a list of that team’s matches, grouped under Upcoming games, Past games and Interrupted games tabs. Select the specific match you want — the widget has nothing to show until one is checked.

  7. When done, select Save Block.

  8. Hover the widget block and select the preview control to see the real widget.

Good to know

Only the preview shows the real widget. The collapsed block and the options panel show a CMS summary card instead — always check preview before publishing.

  • The preview area is narrower than a published page, so the widget uses its compact layout there and may hide columns that the published version shows.
  • The widget always renders whichever version of the sports widgets library your project is on. There is no version to set.
