Volleyball Team Programme Widget

The Team Programme widget lists the fixtures for one volleyball team across a season, rather than for the whole competition.

Preconditions

• Your project must have the Volleyball feature enabled. Widget categories are switched on per project, so if Volleyball widgets does not appear in the block picker, ask your administrator to enable it.
• You need permission to create or edit articles.
• The team you choose must have fixtures in the selected season.

Adding the Volleyball Team Programme Widget to a post

To set up the widget:

1. Open an article for editing, or create a new one.
2. Below the blocks in the article body is a row of quick-add buttons: the content blocks first, then one icon for each sport enabled on your project, then +. Hover an icon to see its name — the Volleyball icon is hovered here.

   

3. Select the Volleyball icon, then choose Team Programme from the widget list that opens.

   

4. Set the widget options. Team, Season, Stage, Round and others control what it shows.

   

5. Check the options are the ones you want. Some fields depend on others, so a list can be empty until you set the field above it.

   

6. When done, select Save block.

   

7. Hover the saved block. Of the controls that appear (Copy embed code, Preview, Edit and Remove), select Preview to see the real widget.

Volleyball Team Programme Widget options

• Team (required) — The team whose data you want to show. Type to search.
• Season — The competition season to show the team’s matches for. It fills in by itself once you set the team, with one of that team’s competition seasons (each entry names the competition and the season); pick another from the list if you need a different one.
• Stage — Limits the widget to a single stage of the competition, such as a group phase or a knockout round.
• Round — Limits the programme to one or more rounds. Leave it empty to show every round.
• Limit — How many matches are shown at first and on each further page.
• Date from — The start of the date range to show fixtures for.
• Date to — The end of the date range to show fixtures for.
• Sort direction of fixtures — Whether upcoming fixtures are listed soonest-first or furthest-first.
• Display widget header — Shows the widget’s own heading above its content.
• Sort direction of results — Whether past results are listed most-recent-first or oldest-first.
• Display odds — Shows betting odds alongside the fixture, where available.
• Select bookmaker — The bookmaker whose odds are shown, when odds are enabled.
• Default header option — Which tab, Fixtures or Results, is open when the widget loads. Leave it empty to use your project’s global settings. If the selection has no results yet, the widget opens on Fixtures.
• Refresh time — Controls how often the published widget refetches its data. Leave empty to use your project’s global refresh setting.

What the Volleyball Team Programme Widget shows

Each fixture row shows:

• Date — start time: when the match starts, in your project timezone; a finished match shows its status instead
• Teams — the two sides: both teams, home team first, with their flags or crests
• S1-S5 — set scores: points won by each side in each set played
• S — sets won: sets won by each side once the match is complete

The widget lists that team’s matches in date order under Fixtures and Results tabs, grouped by competition.

Good to know

• The preview area is narrower than a published page, so the widget uses its compact layout there and may hide columns that the published version shows.
• The widget always renders whichever version of the sports widgets library your project is on. There is no version to set.
